Men's Ministry

The purpose of the Men’s Fellowship of the New Life Church of God 7th Day is to reveal Jesus Christ to all men in order that God’s Kingdom will be manifested tangibly in their lives. This ministry seeks to sharpen and strengthen men through God’s Word, fellowship, encouragement and support.

The Men’s Ministry is a multifaceted, comprehensive ministry that will expand the Kingdom of God by encouraging and supporting men to walk in their calling and purpose.

The bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 12:10-14 the importance of knowing what you life concludes of, you purpose and the outcome of it at the end of your journey in life.

Ecclesiastes 12:10 The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
Ecclesiastes 12:11 The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.
Ecclesiastes 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

We encourage our men young, mid-aged and old to stand up for God and the doctrines of Jesus Christ, the messiah our soon and coming King. Young man, I called you because you are strong. 1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

The goals and objectives of the New Life C.O.G. 7th day men’s department:
1. To Support and carry out the mission and goal of New Life Church of God 7th Day.
2. To strengthen the impact of godly men through prayer and accountability; to reach out to other men in our family and community.
3. To make a positive difference in not only our lives, but the lives of others by encouraging the will of God through the Word of God.
4. To foster unity in our local congregation as well as abroad.
As New Life men learn their identities in God through discipleship, fellowship and accountability, they will be able to build stronger marriages, become better fathers, grow spiritually and reach other men in our communities.
